X-mas ornaments-experiments with fused glass

Embossed Ornaments
- Embossed Glass X-mas Tree Ornaments
One of the things that I love the most about being an artist is letting my inner-child play & experiment! Today, I experimented with warm glass to create Christmas ornaments.
Using ceramic fiber felt and full fuse schedule in my kiln, I embossed X-mas trees into green art glass.
I used my flex shaft and diamond drill bit with those uber sexy safety glasses to drill holes into the glass ornaments.

I wire wrapped each glass ornament with 20 gauge copper and now they are ready to hang…..only 1 more month before they can actually be used!
These would make wonderfully unique ornaments and/or a great package decoration that would also be a remembrance for later years as you bring out the ornament each year to decorate your tree & think back on when you received it…
